
There are 64 landmarks you will need to find for Tao’s Exploration Log, of which 5 of them are located in Weissberg Volcano. Some of them are hidden around the maps while others are only accessible with specific gathering tools.
You will need to complete the following requirements to access all landmarks:
- Defeat the final boss: The final landmarks only become accessible once you beat the Ravaging Queen.
- Synthesize the Wind Shoes with Lightweight and Wind Rider: Some landmarks are locked behind wind currents or stone crossings. You will need the Wind Shoes with both effects in order to access these landmarks.

Weissberg Volcano Landmarks
There are 5 landmarks at the Weissberg Volcano. You won’t need any specific gathering tools to access them.
Crystal Block

Fast travel to Weissberg Volcano – Smoky Mountain Path.
From your point of arrival, take the path to the left.

Continue until you reach a wall and squeeze through the gap.

On the other side of the wall, you will arrive at the Crystal Block.

Old Drawbridge

After arriving at the Smoky Mountain Path, take the road to the right. Continue to the southeast part of the map and you will arrive at the Old Drawbridge.

Artisan District Ruins

Fast travel to Weissberg Volcano – Hidden Village. Simply walk in a straight line and you will reach the Artisan District Ruins.

Abandoned Grave

Fast travel to Weissberg Volcano – Iron Race Summit. Walk to the east side of the map and continue until you reach the end of the road. You will arrive at the Abandoned Grave.

Black Iron Altar

After arriving on Iron Race Summit, head over to the north side of the map. You will arrive at the Black Iron Altar.
The Great Fire Element spawns here. You do not need the Wind Shoes to access the Black Iron Altar. However, you will need them to reach the optional boss.
