The town cottage is an additional player home in Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. You can ask Gotz about building the town cottage. The house is really expensive, but there are some rare items you can find inside the house after you’ve built it.

Requirements

Before you can purchase the town cottage, you must first upgrade your house twice and purchase all other upgrades from Gotz. The town cottage costs a hefty 100,000,000 G and 999 pieces of lumber.

The Town Cottage

The town cottage functions the same as your original farmhouse. The only difference is you cannot expand it further and there is no toolbox or cabinet to store your items. You also can’t buy additional furniture to decorate it.

The interior of the town cottage is also similar in size to your first farmhouse. You can save your game and sleep in the town cottage. The house comes with a diary, a bed, a calendar, a TV set and some furniture.

Note: If you are married, you cannot move your spouse to the town cottage. She will stay in your original farmhouse.

The Harvest Goddess Game

One purpose of the town cottage is to play a game with the Harvest Goddess. She appears on the TV every Saturday to play rock paper scissors with you. If you win several times in a row, she will award you with certain items.

New Year’s Game Show

Starting from the 29^th of winter, the New Year’s Game Show will be available to watch on the TV in the town cottage. There will be a game with ten simple math questions. You can get one Jewel of Truth if you answer all questions correctly.
