Warning: This article contains very minor spoilers for the final quest of the DLC Lonesome Road.
Ulysses’ Logs are collectible items found in Fallout: New Vegas’ fourth DLC- Lonesome Road. They can be played back after being collected, revealing some information about both Ulysses, the main antagonist of the DLC, and the plot of all of the previous DLC and even some of the base game.
Collecting all of the logs also completes the challenge “Ulysses’ Odyssey”, granting 100XP and allows you to use Ulysses’ own words against him in the final confrontation of the DLC.
There are a total of 6 logs that can be found throughout the DLC. They are primarily found near the path that the main quest follows. They can be gathered at any time and in any order, however you need to have all of them before the point of no return in the DLC to make use of them in the ending.
The location of the logs are listed in order of main story progression.
Log 1: Hopeville Loading Station
To find the first log, make your way to the Hopeville Missile Base Loading Station which is located south-east of the Hopeville Missile Base exit where Ulysses first contacts you.

Open the chain link gate and make your way to the overturned truck. The tape is inside of a toolbox.

Log 2: Marked Men Supply Outpost
The second log is located in a hidden area between the High Road entrance and the Marked Men Supply Outpost, both of which are still within Hopeville.
Once you find the spot, you’ll have to pick the lock on a chain link gate. The difficulty of the lock depends on your level. If you can’t pick the lock, a key is available.
To find the key, head to the Marked Men Supply Outpost and look for an overturned orange truck. Inside, you’ll find the Warehouse Stash Key which unlocks gate.

Once unlocked, inside you will find a metal shelf on your left where the second holotape is.

Log 3: Crow’s Nest
The third log is located in a toppled over building located in the “High Road” area.

To get up there, walk to the left side of the highway and climb up using the debris and signposts as a bridge.

Keep in mind that the following area is covered in Satchel Charge traps which detonate almost immediately and can easily kill you instantly. Keep an eye out for them.
After that, you’ll have to jump over to the next building over.

To your left is where you’ll find the holotape, sitting on a piece of concrete.

While you’re here, you can also pick up the Advanced Riot Gear, which is on a corpse that is hanging from a window.
Log 4: Ashton Bridge
The next log is located at the end of High Road, in a dead end of the highway.

If you are approaching from the highway, you’ll have to take a right off of the highway first, and climb up a set of boulders that will lead you to an elevated campsite.

From there, look to your right, you should see the holotape sitting on a rock next to a campfire.

Log 5: Sunstone Tower
While exploring the Sunstone Tower during the main quest, you’ll eventually come to a fork between 2 paths, one leads down a set of stairs, the other leads to an adjacent building.

Take the latter path to the building which is made of rusted metallic scaffolding. The scaffolding will lead you to a room with a metal desk. The tape is laying on it.

Log 6: Buried Building
The last tape is located in an unmarked, half-buried fallen building located between the Third Street Municipal Building and the Cave of Abaddon, west of the Sunstone Tower Roof.

Find the destroyed wall on the side of the building which leads to a room half-filled with dirt.

In the back part of the room, a mattress can be seen. The log is hidden behind the mattress.
