Vera’s outfit is the best conversational-skill-boosting item in the game. It can be found in Vera’s executive suite, next to where you meet up with Christine. You can only get this outfit if you own the Dead Money DLC.

Quick tips before you go grab the dress:

• The Dead Money DLC is required. The dress can only be acquired if you own the Dead Money DLC.
• Cannot be given to Veronica. Despite it being the fanciest dress in the game, moreover, despite Veronica positively reacting to the dress, she will not teach you the unique Scribe Counter unarmed move if you give her this dress.

Acquisition

To get the suit, get all the way to the last part of the Dead Money DLC, to the main quest “Last Luxuries”.

During this quest, you’ll be tasked with meeting up with Christine. Follow the quest marker until you reach her.

You’ll meet Christine in Vera’s room. Deal with Christine first. Once you end the dialogue with her, you’ll be free to explore the room.

Look for a skeleton sitting on a chair in the rear right part of the room.

Interacting with the skeleton will give you the dress.

Gameplay Tips

• As far as items to wear during conversations, this is the best one. It boosts your Barter and Speech skills by 5 and your Charisma by 1, which boosts the aforementioned skills by another 2 points.
